The arrow shown in the photo to the left is pointing at the fuel mixture
adjustment screw.
This is the screw that is nearest the air intake
Turn this screw in (clockwise) to richen (more
gas) the fuel mixture.
Turn this screw out (counter clockwise) to lean
(less gas) the fuel mixture.
It is normal for a small amount of smoke to come out of the muffler.
Warning
Setting the carburetor to much
lean may cause your engine to over heat and cause damage.
We have found most engines are
set lean from the factory and need to be adjusted. |
