Fuel
Adjustment
The arrow shown in the photo to the left is pointing at the fuel mixture
adjustment screw.
This is the screw that is nearest the air intake
Turn this screw in (clockwise) to richen (more
gas) the fuel mixture.
Turn this screw out (counter clockwise) to lean
(less gas) the fuel mixture.
It is normal for a small amount of smoke to come out of the muffler.
Warning
Setting the carburetor to much
lean may cause your engine to over heat and cause damage.
We have found most engines are
set lean from the factory and need to be adjusted.
Idle Speed Adjustment
The arrow shown in the photo to the left is pointing at the idle adjustment
screw.
This is the screw that is nearest the engine.
Turn this screw in (clockwise) to speed up the
idle speed.
Turn this screw out (counter clockwise) to slow
down the idle speed.
Fuel Line Connections
The arrow shown in the photo to the left is
pointing at the Fuel Pump vacuum line connection.
Fuel does not enter here on the Carburetor.
The Carburetor creates small vacuum pulses that makes the fuel pump pump the
fuel.
If the fuel line that connects here does not
fit tight or has leaks will cause the engine to run poorly if at all. We
have replacement fuel line to fit this carburetor.
Fuel Line Connections
The arrow shown in the photo to the left is
pointing at the Fuel Pump fuel line connection.
Fuel enters the carburetor here.
If the fuel line that connects here does not
